Empowering Colorado students through diplomacy, leadership, and collaboration
Colorado Model United Nations (Colorado MUN) is a statewide consortium of public and independent high schools that host and attend local Model UN conferences. We are one of the few programs in the nation that coordinates statewide events, giving students the chance not only to serve as delegates, but also to host conferences, write background guides, and preside over committees.
Our high school conferences run from September through April. There is no official “league,” so any high school can participate in one or more conferences with just a group of interested students and a supportive faculty sponsor. Schools from outside Colorado are also welcome, though they must arrange their own travel and lodging.
All delegations must have a faculty sponsor, and students must be accompanied by a qualified adult chaperone while on the host campus. Each conference is organized by the host school, which manages its own invitations and logistics.
